Wilson and O'Sullivan to contest the World Snooker Championship final

Kyren Wilson and Ronnie O'Sullivan have booked their places in tomorrow's World Snooker Championship final after a night of high drama at the Crucible.

Both semi-finals went to a deciding frame with Wilson reaching the showpiece for the first time coming from behind to beat Scotland's Anthony McGill 17-16.

Ronnie O'Sullivan was also one frame away from defeat, but fought back to beat Mark Selby by the same score.

Five-time champion O'Sullivan had been 5-3 up against Selby before falling 16-14 down in Sheffield.

A 138 clearance and a 71 break from the 19 time Triple Crown winner forced a deciding frame and then successfully secure a snooker after the final red to edge an epic and register his first Crucible victory over Selby.

"For three days I've just been looking for a cue action where I can hit the ball half straight," O'Sullivan told the BBC after the match.

"I'm watching Selby cue up and he's got the perfect set-up and the perfect start by trying to make the score look respectable, but some of my play wasn't great.

"If I can find the cue action then I will enjoy the final. Cue action first and everything else is a bonus."
