"Sharp" Seamus Power moves into contention at Byron Nelson

Seamus Power feels his game is "sharp" after he moved up to sixth place at the halfway point of the AT&T Byron Nelson.

A second-round 68 in Texas saw him move to 11-under-par with American Sam Burns holding a two-shot advantage over the field at 17-under.

Europe's Ryder Cup captain Padraig Harrington missed the cut at the last PGA Tour event before next week's PGA Championship.

"My iron play has been pretty sharp," Power said his round. "The driver is not as good as I would like it yet, but it's getting better.

"And, yeah, I like the greens. I feel like I'm reading them pretty well. Most of the game is pretty sharp.

The Waterford man says he's particularly enjoyed playing at TPC Craig Ranch this week.

"It's easier off the tee I guess a little bit longer, but my irons, as I said my irons have been good, so I feel like get after a lot of pins that some other guys can't, and then my wedges and putting have been good the last two weeks.

"All in all, feel like any time I tee it up here I'm going to have a pretty good chance.
