Bohs confirm all home Women's National League games to be played at Dalymount Park

Bohemians confirmed that all of their WNL home fixtures will be played at Dalymount Park, following consultation with and assistance from Dublin City Council.

Bohemian FC confirmed that all of their Women's National League home fixtures will be played at Dalymount Park, following consultation with and assistance from Dublin City Council.

Every home match for Bohs will take place at 6pm on Saturdays this season. The news was confirmed on the Bohemians Twitter account on Saturday afternoon.

In addition to the news that the matches will be played at Dalymount, Bohs confirmed that season ticket holders for the men's season will be admitted to the women's game free of charge.

"In recognition of the loyalty of our fanbase over the past two years, despite being starved of live football for most of that period, we can also confirm that 2022 members, season ticket holders and Junior Gypsies can attend all WNL games at Dalymount Park free of charge," the Bohs' statement on Twitter read.

The season will begin on March 5th, as Bohs travel away to Shelbourne. Their first home fixture will be against Athlone Town a week later, on March 12th.

Bohs returned to training on Friday night. Speaking to the Bohs' media team, winger Naima Chemaou looked ahead to the new season.

"I am really looking forward to getting back kicking a ball," Chemaou said. "[The squad] is looking good. When I arrived I was a little surprised at how many people showed up today for pre-season.

"I know we have lost a few players, but we have also gained a good few experienced players as well, so I am looking forward to seeing what it looks like.

"Nothing beats Dalymount Park now. I am looking forward to getting back playing so that I can play in Dalymount myself. I know the girls are thrilled with it.

"Last season we didn't get to play in it as often as we'd like, but now, Saturday nights, 6pm, you should be there."

Bohs finished in sixth position on the table last season, and Chemaou is hoping that they will be able to improve now that they will be playing in Dalymount every other week.

"Positive with sixth place last year," Chemaou said. "We are looking to improve as we go. We are looking to possibly finish above that again, fourth or fifth, just building with the players that we do have."
