What is happening to Barcelona's form in La Liga?

The top six in La Liga all failed to win at the weekend as Villarreal continue to lead at the top of the standings by a point after seven games. They lost to Levante 1-0 at the weekend.

Ben Lyttleton joined Joe and Dan on last nights Off the Ball Football Show to look back at the weekend in Spain as Barcelona and Real Madrid struggled.

The Catalans continue to miss the injured Lionel Messi. They lost to Sevilla 2-1 at the weekend to lie in fourth place in La Liga. Ben told Joe that "there is a bit of an issue" with Barcelona at the moment.

Luis Enrique's relationship with the local press seems to be at an all time low. The press corps were not allowed travel with the team to Seville last weekend for the game.

Real Madrid drew 1-1 with Atletico in the Madrid Derby. They took the lead in the game through Karim Benzema before Luciano Vietto scored late in the game.

Cristiano Ronaldo has only scored in one game so far this season, albeit he scored five against against Granada. "This could be the new way that Ronaldo plays" according to Lyttleton as he told Joe his career my lie as a centre forward for the rest of his time at the Bernabeu.

You can also hear Ben's thoughts on the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich have already stretched their lead to seven points after a 5-1 win over Borussia Dortmund.
