It's All-Ireland quarter-finals day in the hurling championship with a double-header of senior action at Semple Stadium on the cards.
First up, at 2 o'clock, Dublin and Waterford square-off for a place in the last four.
Dublin's win over Limerick in the last round will have given the capital's hurlers a boost, while Waterford went down to Tipperary in the Munster final
The 4 o'clock match sees Galway go up against Cork.
Galway's record in this fixture will provide a lot of hope as they've won the last three Championship matches between the sides.
But the sides come into this game on opposite trajectories - Cork have won back-to-back matches in the qualifiers, but Galway are still licking their wounds from the Leinster final defeat to Kilkenny.
It's not just senior action in Thurles, though.
The curtain-raiser sees Limerick and Galway face off in the minor quarter-finals.
That's underway at midday.
There's also the under-21 hurling Championship 'C' final, which sees Donegal take on Tyrone at Celtic Park from 6.
CYCLING
Barring an accident, Chris Froome will ride through Paris this afternoon as the Tour de France winner.
The Englishman sealed victory in yesterday's stage after a Nairo Quintana charge failed to make a big enough dent in his lead.
It's the second time Froome will be crowned the victor, after also winning the Tour in 2013.
SOCCER
Shamrock Rovers have have a chance to put pressure on the top in the SSE Airtricity Premier Division this afternoon.
They host bottom side Limerick who are still looking for their first win of the season.
That kicks off at 4pm, but the big one is at 6 as it's a top of the table clash between Dundalk and Cork City.
A win for Dundalk could see them open up a nine-point lead over John Caulfield's men.
FORMULA 1
Lewis Hamilton will be looking to increase his lead at the top of the drivers' standings at the Hungarian Grand Prix today.
He's on pole position for the race, finishing just half a second clear of team-mate Nico Rosberg in yesterday's qualifying.
