Tim Sherwood got Aston Villa off to a winning start in the Premier League last weekend with a narrow win over Bournemouth, but there promises to be a much tougher test for him this evening.
The Villa boss will have to overturn two particularly long-standing records in order to get a win against Louis van Gaal's side at Villa Park, both of which suggest that his side will struggle to win against a United team packed with star talent.
While the stats might be against them, The Guardian's Stuart James spoke to Off The Ball about how the club could be on the up, and that the perception of manager Tim Sherwood has also been revisited following his successes last season in keeping the club in the Premier League and reaching an FA Cup final.
