Roberto Firmino's Liverpool contract prohibits a move to Arsenal

Roberto Firmino has been one of the stars in Liverpool's strong Premier League campaign.

The Brazilian international has scored six goals this season, and looks on course to match the 14 he scored last season for Liverpool. Along with team mate Philippe Coutinho, the Brazilian duo have led Liverpool's bid towards a first Premier League title.

As Firmino continues to impress at Anfield, the reports of a move from Liverpool will continue, but it looks like Jurgen Klopp's side are ready for any potential suitors (apart from one).

English-based Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has reported that the 25-year-old has a €98million release clause in his contact, that can be triggered by everyone but Premier League rivals Arsenal.

In 2013, Arsene Wenger's side made a £40,000,001 bid for Luis Suarez, £1 over what they believed to be the Uruguayan's buy-out clause. Suarez eventually moved to Barcelona, but the stunt has not been forgotten by the Liverpool hierarchy.

The Football Leaks story, continues to show the unusual clauses Liverpool add to player contracts. Last weekend, it was revealed that Mario Balotelli was entitled to a £1million "good behaviour" bonus at the end of each season.
