Spurs boss José Mourinho spoke post-match after Leicester were 2-0 winners at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
"We didn't start well. I could go on the individuals but I won't. We didn't start well," Mourinho told Sky Sports.
"I think the second half, we scored our own goal when we had possession. The reaction was positive. Schmeichel made a couple of important saves that could give us life in the last minutes."
"Our performance was not good but the game was not that they deserved to win or we deserved to lose."
Mourinho wasn't ready to concede his side lost to the better team on the day.
"It's a game we lose with a penalty and own goal and looks like the opponent was totally in control and better than us, but that was not the reality."

Mourinho on the penalty incident
"I would describe it as a mistake. I have to admit that you have to know where you are, that you are inside the box," he said of Serge Aurier's penalty conceding.
In the interview, comparisons are drawn to Mourinho's comments about Aurier's lively play in the Amazon "All or Nothing" documentary.
"I know my players. I know my player's qualities, I know my player's little problems - I'll say that."
"Serge was phenomenal against Liverpool. Phenomenal. Probably our best player and today made this mistake.
"Did this mistake cost us three points? I think it's unfair to say that.
Mourinho goes on to tease he wasn't happy with individual performances but was reluctant to elaborate.
"If I have to go on individuals I could go in other directions where the attitude was not the attitude I like."
And in parting, Mourinho had this to say.
"It's not one point from nine. It's as many points in 14 matches."
