Here is the Manchester United team to face Istanbul Basaksehir

Manchester United travel to Turkey on Wednesday evening to play Istanbul Basaksehir in Group H of the Champions League.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have made a perfect start to this season's Champions League, impressively beating the reigning runners-up Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in Paris on matchday one, while hammering last year's semi-finalists, RB Leipzig, 5-0 at Old Trafford last week.

United visit Istanbul to take on a side in Istanbul Basaksehir who have lost their first two group games. Manager Okan Buruk will be hoping his controversial side can cause an upset on Wednesday evening against a hugely under pressure United outfit.

While United have been faultless thus far in Europe, their domestic campaign has been underwhelming, to say the least, and Sunday's limp 1-0 loss to Arsenal meant that United have made their worst start to a season at Old Trafford since 1972.

This home form has culminated in an opening day defeat to Crystal Palace, a drubbing at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur and a dull scoreless draw with Chelsea. United lie 15th in the Premier League table after six games having amassed just seven points, six of which came from a fortunate victory away to Brighton & Hove Albion and a 4-1 win at St. James' Park against Newcastle United where the visitors demonstrated their ability on the counter-attack in the last 10 minutes of the match.

Questions about Solskjaer's future at the club have once again reemerged following that insipid display against Mikel Arteta's Gunners last weekend.

As a result, the Norweigan has rung the changes in the United XI this evening.

Dean Henderson - who spent the 2019/20 season on loan at Sheffield United - starts in goal. Alex Tuanzebe comes into defence ahead of Victor Lindelof. The vaunted Donny van de Beek replaces Paul Pogba in midfield, with Nemanja Matic and Juan Mata in for Scott McTominay and Fred.

Meanwhile, Anthony Martial, who is serving a three-game domestic suspension following his straight red card against Spurs, begins in attack alongside Marcus Rashford, who scored a hat-trick off the bench against Leipzig.

The full team is: Henderson (GK); Wan-Bissaka, Tuanzebe, Maguire (c), Shaw; Matic, van de Beek, Fernandes, Mata; Martial, Rashford.

Kick-off in this Group H encounter is at 5.55pm Irish time, with United looking to make it nine points from an available nine.
