Tottenham Hotspur may have turned a corner and could be about to replicate the form they showed before Christmas, when they were top of the Premier League, rather than the displays which saw them lose five out of six matches and drop to ninth earlier this year.

Spurs enter Sunday's North London derby against Arsenal off the back of five straight wins, three in the top flight. Granted, none of those games were against high quality opposition, but what is clear is that Gareth Bale has discovered a lease of life many did not think was possible.

The Welshman has scored four goals in the last four Premier League games, as Jose Mourinho let the handbrake off his team. Harry Kane has fired 16 goals and provided 13 assists this season, and with Kane, Bale and Heung Min Son in a team, Spurs are capable of beating anyone.

The Lilywhites could have the edge on an Arsenal side that is improving, but had to play in Greece on Thursday. The Gunners are well capable of winning this, but they also have no clean sheets in nine games and I am tipping Spurs to come good in what could be an entertaining tussle.

Elsewhere, goal-shy Brighton desperately need a win that their easy on the eye football promises, and they have a decent chance against a Southampton side that have lost nine of their last 11 Premier League games and have shipped 30 goals in the top tier in 2021.

Southampton are without Danny Ings, and although they dazzled briefly against Manchester City during the week, they still conceded five goals.

Brighton will get their fair share of the ball and I think they are good enough to finally win one of these matches in order to help their survival prospects.

Football recommendation: Tottenham Hotspur to beat Arsenal in the Premier League - 9/5

Football recommendation: Brighton to beat Southampton in the Premier League - 6/4

Good luck!
