Sunday sees Manchester City bid to win their fourth English League Cup in a row against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley.

Spurs haven't won a trophy since 2008, when they edged Chelsea to take the League Cup.

Bringing silverware to Spurs was what Jose Mourinho was tasked with doing, but he was sacked this week after only 17 months in the job.

City have been back to their brilliant best this season. The Premier League lead is 11 points and the title is secure. A Champions League semi-final against PSG is on the horizon, and Kevin de Bruyne recently signed a new deal.

Spurs beat City 2-0 back in November, but there's been a Grand Canyon of difference in terms of the fortunes of the clubs since then. On that day, Spurs went top of the Premier League table. Today, the gap is 24 points.

So even though City may have one eye on Paris Saint Germain this week, Pep Guardiola will want to enter that tie with the momentum of a trophy.

With their high tempo and passing skill guaranteed from the off, City should have enough for the now Ryan Mason led Tottenham, who beat Southampton during the week.

Harry Kane hasn't trained and his participation in the match is touch and go. What I expect is that Spurs will be positive and attacking, but that may not be enough to stave off a City win that will have its foundations in quality.

If it's going to be a high scoring game, I fancy South Korean Son-Heung Min to find the net at any time.

He has scored 20 goals in all competitions this season, he has netted five times in six career games against City and the Sky Blues have conceded in each of their last five games.

Football recommendation: Son-Heung Min to score at any time against Manchester City in the EFL Cup Final at Wembley - 11/4

Good luck!
