Speaking to Off The Ball after Liverpool and Chelsea's Capital One Cup draw tonight, he tipped his hat towards ex-Leeds and Ireland left-back Ian Harte.
"I know people say David Beckham but I'd put Ian Harte up there with him. The years I spent with Harte and the years he spent at Leeds, for me his set piece delivery was as good anything, including Beckham. He was just so consistent," he said.
