"He is dominating": Zlatan Ibrahimović praises Henrikh Mkhitaryan following Spurs win

Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimović was full of praise for team mate Henrikh Mkhitaryan this afternoon following his side's 1-0 win over Tottenham at Old Trafford.

Mkhitaryan scored his first Premier League goal for the club and the big Swede heaped praise on the Armenian, claiming that he is dominating his position.

"He's training very hard and he's a quality player," he told Off The Ball's Dave McIntyre. "There's no secret about it, he shows every game that he's doing well. He was waiting for his chance, he got it and he took it. He's dominating in his position.

"He's a team player and he's doing what he thinks is best for the team."

United were able to put recent poor results behind them, including a string of disappointing 1-1 draws against West Ham and Everton.

"It was a good win, the outcome today was good and we had a good performance. [We were] stable, we had control over the game.

"We had many occasions to score goals  but we scored the one we needed... Today I was confident. In the last Premier League game against Everton was risky, but I was confident we would not concede any goal. We looked good throughout the game."

He added: "If we had conceded agoal today at the end [of the match], I would be most disappointed. It would be the most disappointing moment in my career probably."
