England fans unleashed on London: Good, Bad & the Ugly

England football supporters have descended on London as their team prepares to take on Italy in the final of the European Championships in Wembley.

England have made it to their first Euros final after not conceding a goal throughout the majority of the tournament, with the first goal being scored against them in the semi-final against Denmark.

The run of form of England has caused a major increase in the support of the English national team, with many believing that it is truly coming home.

However, the English fans have garnered a negative reaction from many non-English supporters, with their habit of booing the knee and opposition anthems, as well as bad behaviour in the crowds in general, being one of the major talking points heading into the final.

Now, just a few hours away from kickoff, England fans have descended on their nation's capital to show their support for their team, in some cases causing major disruption and damage.

While there was destruction and general mess going around in Leicester Square, elsewhere in London some England fans had begun to climb atop buses as the build up towards the final continued.

The chaos in and around London has been captured by many, both England fans and neutrals, with the litter and lack of social distancing being of concern to many commenters on social media.

While a lot of the actions of the crowds in and around London have been cause for concern, some people have seen the humour in it.

The celebrations are not all as chaotic throughout England, though, as the crowds outside Wembley have been well behaved, even delving into the classic Neil Diamond hit, 'Sweet Caroline' as they wait for Gareth Southgate and his team to take on Italy.

It is clear that the possibility of England winning a major tournament has truly grasped the country, and taken some fans too far.
