"You got to take every point" - Isa Nacewa is happy to leave France with a losing bonus point

Isa Nacewa scored all of Leinster's points as the team lost 22-16 to Montpellier in France.

The Leinster captain scored a try in the last paly of the game. He converted his own try to earn Leinster the losing bonus point. It also helped the team remain top of their Pool after two games.

"You got to take all the positives out of these games and you got to take every point", Nacewa told Off the Ball's Dave McIntyre. "The way we fought back at the end is a massive credit to our team and probably more so the bench, and the impact that the guys had coming off the bench. When you're down like that, you're to come away with a point."

When asked to rate the team's performance out of ten, Nacewa wouldn't comment on the first hour, but he felt the team were great in the final quarter.

"I'd probably put a nine for the last 20 minutes. We needed to execute and we still didn't execute when we could have."

Leinster's impressive final surge came when Leo Cullen emptied the bench. Nacewa told Dave McIntyre that the replacements were the reason, Leinster earned what may be a crucial bonus point.

"The bench put us back into the game. Dan Leavy was sensational in the ball carry. Jack McGrath also. Jordi Murphy carried solid when he had to. We have to take the positives from that."

With six points from their opening two Champions Cup games, the team return to Pro12 action next week, when they face Connacht in the RDS next Saturday.
