Devin Toner will make his 50th European appearance when Leinster travel to Franklin's Gardens to take on Northampton.

The match will also see the return of Sean O'Brien to action after the flanker picked up a minor injury on international duty in November.

As expected, Leo Cullen has named a strong side with Jack McGrath, Sean Cronin and Tadgh Furlong starting in the front row.

Devin Toner and Hayden Triggs start at lock while Sean O'Brien, Josh van der Flier and Jamie Heaslip making up the back-row.

Luke McGrath and Joey Carbery are the half-back pairing with Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose in the centre.

Captain Isa Nacewa and Adam Byrne start on the wings with veteran Rob Kearney at full-back.

James Tracy, Cian Healy, Michael Bent, Rhys Ruddock, Jack Conan, Jamison Gibson-Park, Ross Byrne and Rory O’Loughlin start on the bench.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference, Sean O'Brien said he was "disappointed to miss the Australia game but really pleased to be back involved with Leinster tomorrow."

Northampton have also named their starting line-up with Alex Waller, Mickey Haywood and Paul Hill starting in the front row with Michael Paterson and Courtney Lawes behind them.

James Gibson, Tom Wood and Louis Picamoles are the starting back-row.

Nic Groom and Stephen Myler start at scrum-half and out-half respectively with JJ Hanrahan and Luther Burrell in the centre.

Jamie Elliott and Ken Pisi start on the wings with Ben Foden at full-back.

Dylan Hartley, Ethan Waller, Gareth Denman, Api Ratuniyarawa, Teimana Harrison, Tom Kessell, George Pisi and Ashee Tuala start from the bench.
