WATCH: Sensational Keith Earls try ruled out as Ireland beat England

On a brilliant afternoon for Ireland against England in Saturday's Six Nations clash, Irish fans nevertheless had some reason to bemoan an overruled try for Keith Earls.

What would have been a second try for the Limerick native on a day where he delivered a brilliant performance in green, Earls finished off what would have been a marvelous third try for Ireland this afternoon.

After a commanding first-half performance in Dublin, Ireland lead England 20-6 at the break.

Wary that Eddie Jones' team may have something in their locker for a second-half response that would surely come, it was Ireland who remained the more dominant side.

As Ireland settled back into their rhythm, Keith Earls was on-hand again to finish off what was a wonderful move from Andy Farrell's team.

Unfortunately, the play was called back and the try had to be ruled out.

In the end, it did not impact Ireland as they proceeded to defeat England and see out their Six Nations on a positive note.
