John Muldoon brings Connacht feet back to earth ahead of date with destiny

Connacht captain John Muldoon says they have their "work cut out" ahead of next weekend Pro 12 final against Leinster at Murrayfield.

The Westerners claimed an historic 16-11 semi-final win over holders Glasgow Warriors at the Sportsground last night.

Connacht, who have had their most sucessful season ever, will feature in the final for the first time in their history.

Despite the achievement, Muldoon says they are not getting carried away yet.

"It's fantastic but we've won nothing yet. That's the big thing. It's great to get to a final but we've got to try and win it now which is not going to be easy," he said.

"I thought Leinster were outstanding last night. Defence won the game. I think that five minute period after half-time was what won them the game. The big days and big occasions, the big men come to the fore and Heaslip, Sexton and all them lads were very, very good. So we've our work cut out."
