England overcome Australia to end 2016 without a single defeat

England have achieved 14 straight wins in international test rugby after beating Australia 37-21 at Twickenham.

The record-equalling victory came in their final autumn international and means Eddie Jones' side end the year unbeaten.

Bath centre Jonathan Joseph scored two of England's four tries as they overcame a Wallabies side that was beaten by Ireland at the Aviva Stadium last week.

Marland Yarde and Ben Youngs also added the other England tries.

Sefanaia Naivalu and Sekope Kepu got the two Australia tries.

Ireland, who beat all three traditional Southern Hemisphere giants during the 2016 calendar year, will next face England in the final week of the 2017 Six Nations, with an Aviva Stadium fixture on March 18th.
