Paul Kimmage and Kieran Cunningham were the guests on the Sunday Paper Review as they joined Joe Molloy on Off the Ball to look back at the big talking points from the week.
While Dublin have been roundly praised for securing three All-Ireland football titles in a row, their tactics in the dying minutes against Mayo have come in for some criticism.
Kimmage didn't hold back on their antics, saying: "Is winning the only thing then?...and if it is, give me losers because I'm not interested in that. I'm not interested in guys who go out and cheat and act disgracefully like that.

"I would want Jim Gavin to bring those guys in and say 'listen, if we can't win by kicking the ball over the bar or kicking (it) into the back of the net - I'm not interested. We're a football team, we're not a team of thugs and we're not going to act like thugs'.
"And what's wrong with setting that bar across the board?..(to be) outraged when it happens and not to be condoning it when it happens over the last week.
"Former players coming out 'ah, we'd all do that' - oh my God and that's ok?
"And then they're running out on to the pitch now with SuperValu t-shirts bringing kids along - this is the example you're showing them, 'we'd all do that'.
Former Dublin footballer Alan Brogan defended Dublin's "sportsmanship" in the Sunday Independent to which Kimmage replied: Alan Brogan is the same fella who starts moaning then when they start to bring in dope controls at the end of games. He wants it every way."
