Today it's PE teacher and Longford footballer Mickey Quinn with an Off The Couch ball challenge to keep our minds and bodies active!
He's put together a mix of drills to test your reactions and hand-eye coordination.
Stick at it and see if you can master the three-ball wall juggle - or challenge someone to see who can do more repetitions in 30 seconds.
Here are Mickey's tips:
Alternating Tennis Ball Throw & Catch: How man throws can you get in 30seconds?
Key Points - Underarm throw, soft hands and throw the ball at an angle off the wall to direct to your opposition hand.
Double Tennis Ball Throw & Catch: Throw both balls at the same time and try and catch both balls as they return off the wall.
Key Points - Keep the throws close together to avoid reaching to either side.
Handpassing Figure 8’s: Start with a handpass off the wall, then make a figure 8 with the ball throw your legs and finish with a handpass. Repeat and see how many passes you can get in 30seconds.
Key Points - Start with a wide stance and your knees slightly bent.
Two Ball Tram Tracks: Start by throwing the first ball off the wall with a loop - this gives you extra time. Keep one ball to the left and one to the right. Keeping the passes looping at the beginning will give you more time to get your hands organised. Once you get the hang off this try to gradually take the loop out of your handpasses.
Key Points - Be on your toes. Start using a double-handed throw (like a rugby pass off both sides) to make it easier.
3 Ball Juggle + 3 Ball Wall Juggle: If the few drills above are working well and you want to up the anti try this!
Keep Points - Keep every throw the same height, each throw comes under the other.
