In Pictures: Mayo fans far and wide show support for their county

Renowned for their passion, supporters of Mayo's senior football team have been showing their support in a variety of ways ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland final with Dublin.

Right across the county and further afield still, Mayo fans have been making sure that they are making their presence felt for an All-Ireland Final like no other.

For one exiled Mayo man in Dublin, he is determined to keep the flame burning in opposition territory.

Earlier on Friday, as the team set off for Dublin ahead of Saturday's clash, supporters from the Ballyhaunis GAA club in Mayo came out in strength to give their players a hero's send off.

Meanwhile, supporters in Knockbrack were on hand to make sure the players knew they would have plenty of support on Saturday evening despite the empty stands in Croke Park.

Across the whole of the county, there has been no shortage of well-wishers out in force hoping that Mayo might finally end their 69-year wait to bring Sam Maguire back across the River Shannon.

Meanwhile, some Dubs across the country are also determined that their record-chasing team will be represented when tomorrow's final rolls around.

To Dublin and Mayo fans across the country, enjoy Saturday's All-Ireland Final responsibly.
