The 18-year-old joined the Reds from Dungannon United in 2019 and has firmly established himself in the Academy set-up ever since.

He was originally spotted after arriving at the Liverpool development centre, established in Stormont in 2008, and has since been capped at senior international level by Northern Ireland.

Liverpool said in the statement on Monday, "After arriving as an attacking player, Bradley was swiftly converted to a right-back with the ability to push forward.

"He spent most of last season with Barry Lewtas’ U23s squad, scoring his first goal at Premier League 2 level against West Ham United in March, and also played in Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s U18s team which made it all the way to the FA Youth Cup final."

International manager Ian Baraclough gave the Castlederg man his Northern Ireland debut in May, when he came off the bench to replace Leeds United midfielder Stuart Dallas in a friendly win over Malta.

There were other Premier League clubs chasing his signature in the past and he explained why he turned down Manchester United, Chelsea and Southampton.

"It wasn't just because I support [Liverpool]. It was because they're a real family club and that's something we all really appreciate," he said.

"They're also keen on the education side of it, which is very important to me."

Currently in Austria with Jurgen Klopp’s pre-season squad, Bradley played in the friendly game against VfB Stuttgart last week.
