The Republic of Ireland do not have another game in 2020. Hallelujah!

The end of the international break means the return of the Premier League, with some excellent ties to whet the appetite this weekend.

Liverpool versus Leicester City; Tottenham Hotspur against Manchester City; Leeds United to meet Arsenal; some cracking fixtures.

I think Leicester City at 13/5 are a good price to end Liverpool's 63 game unbeaten home record in the top flight on Sunday night.

The previous record at Anfield was also 63 and it's a bizarre statistic that Leicester City were the team to end that back in 1981.

Liverpool have a lot of injuries at the moment; so their back four will be makeshift. Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander Arnold are all out. Mo Salah is recovering from COVID 19 and will miss the match. Fabinho may not be completely sharp to feature from the outset.

On the other hand, Brendan Rodgers has no major injury worries, Jamie Vardy is in top form and the Foxes have won all of their matches on the road this season. Their plan will be to hit Liverpool on the break with pace and they have never had a better chance of winning at Anfield. Remember, Leicester are top of the League, and Rodgers will be chomping at the bit to win on Merseyside.

On Monday, Crystal Palace make the trip to Burnley. On form, Palace will fancy their chances, as Burnley have yet to win a game this season.

However, I do think Burnley are better than that, and they made life difficult for Spurs in a Monday night game last month before losing 1-0. I think this will be tight, and while Palace have found goals, they did lose on the road at Chelsea and Wolves. My gut tells me that Burnley might sneak this.

Football recommendations: Leicester City to beat Liverpool - 13/5

Burnley to beat Crystal Palace - 17/10
