The white noise made it difficult to translate Nesbitt's words of support but there were no doubts about his meaningful intentions.
Carl Frampton unified the IBF and WBA Super Bantamweight titles against Scott Quigg last night and James Nesbitt was there to witness it all.
He was wearing a soccer shirt to showcase his love for Northern Ireland and apparently his choice of attire was not well received by all in Manchester. But Nesbitt knew how to quell the critics by reminding them that he ''might be an Italian car.''
A strange comparison perhaps but no-one could deny the passion was there in spades and he rightly pointed out that Carl Frampton ''has done a lot for Northern Ireland.''
