There may not be many more opportunities to see Conor McGregor fight in Las Vegas

UFC Featherweight champion Conor McGregor has hinted that he may only fight in Las Vegas two more times in his career.

McGregor was speaking to SevereMMA.com in Dublin earlier this week when he revealed his time fighting in Nevada may be coming to a close. McGregor fights Rafael dos Anjos in Las Vegas next month.

"F*** Vegas. F*** Vegas seriously. I want the east coast next. If they don't give me Ireland, give me the east coast next. I'll go back to Boston, I know they're lobbying for New York, we had a great time when we went to Boston and the east coast, it's not as far, it's a five-hour flight."

McGregor fought Dennis Siver in Boston last January in his first main-event fight on American soil. Mixed martial arts remains banned in New York, but the UFC are hopeful the law will be changed in 2016.

Rumours of a fight in Croke Park or the Aviva Stadium have always been hovering over McGregor but he claims he would have no problem fighting in smaller venues in Dublin. "I’ll go back to The O2 no problem or The 3Arena or the Point. I'll go back there and fight, I don't care if it's nine thousand or whatever. I haven’t outgrown that. I haven’t outgrown my home f***ing town. I’m still f***ing here. I show up here every f*** day. I'm still me."

McGregor is expected to fight at UFC 200 on July 9th, no matter the result of the dos Anjos fight and that may be the last chance fans have of seeing the Dubliner in Nevada. “Vegas this one. Vegas next one probably because I committed to UFC 200I I did commit to that, then f***ing east coast or Dublin.”
