The Football Team of the Year...that aren't Dublin Award

While the Dubs are the clear favourites to star in and win the All Ireland, Señor Woolberto believes Cork are the next best placed to make an impression.

The lads also gave honorable mentions to the likes of Cavan and Monaghan who might just have the gameplan to give the Dubs a run for their money. Gizzy also tipped Derry and Mayo.

The Football Player of the Year

Ger's nominations are Dublin's Diarmuid Connolly, Mayo's Aidan O'Shea and Colm O'Neill of Cork, but Wooly has handed his GAA Oscar nomination to Dublin's Alan Brogan who missed last year's Championship through injury.

Gizzy reckons Derry captain Mark Lynch will be an outside bet, although his main bet is on Dublin sharpshooter Bernard Brogan when award season really does come round.

Hurling Team of the Year

This award would probably have been called the Hurling Team of the Year That's Not Called Kilkenny up until last year but as we know 2013 leveled the playing field.

Gizzy has gone for Tipp who lost to the Cats in the League final, explaining that they have improved aspects of their team.

Ger and Gizzy also tipped Clare and Kilkenny, but Wooly is adamant that the Cats will be one of the main candidates and that Clare will not be anywhere near the All Ireland.

There was also an honorable mention for Galway who can't be ruled out.

Hurler of the Year

Seeing as Wooly was tipping Kilkenny for the All Ireland, he believes the Cats will provide the individual award winner and his choices were Michael and Colin Fennelly, with Henry Shefflin failing to make the cut for the lads.
