The rights and wrongs of drink bans is one that our own Colm 'Wooly' Parkinson has discussed on Off The Ball recently.

But tonight, he came into studio armed with some of the extremely strict rules that GAA players have to abide by on some inter-county setups.

Some of the requirements that Wooly read out and explained include no highlights in one's hair, social media and press restrictions, being forced to wear predominantly black football boots and no ankle socks outside county socks among other rules, leading Wooly to conclude that "[Cristiano] Ronaldo wouldn't make a GAA team because he wears earrings" and also questioned the Gaelic Players' Association's role on these issues.
