The Kick Off: Federer, Murray and Nadal and look to advance to Round 3

After Novak Djokovic breezed into round 3 yesterday, Roger Federer, Rafa Nadal and Andy Murray all take to the Wimbledon show courts today.

Second seed Federer faces American, Sam Querry, while Nadal follows them on Centre in taking on Germany's Dustin Brown.

Andy Murray will face Dutchman Robin Haase on Court Number 1. The Scot was victorious the last time the two players met at the US Open last year.

Defending Women's champion, Petra Kvitova takes on Japan's Kurumi Nara.

While fifth seed Caroline Wozniacki faces a tough test on Court 12 against Denisa Allertova.

SOCCER

The Womens World Cup final will be a repeat of the decider of four years ago.

This follow's an injury time own goal from Laura Bassett handing Japan a 2-1 win over England in their semi final.

The defending champions move on to a final with the USA in the small hours of Monday morning.

Sepp Blatter says anyone who calls him corrupt without proof, should be jailed.

The FIFA President has told a German magazine he has a clear conscience, despite the corruption investigations currently ongoing into world football's governing body.

Blatter announced he would step down last month, and his successor will be appointed at an extraordinary congress.

Cork City, UCD and St Patrick's Athletic all see action this evening in the first round of qualifying for the Europa League.

St Pat's have made the trip to Lativa to face Skonto Riga in the first-leg of their tie, which will kick-off at 5pm.

Later this evening, Cork City host KR Reykjavík at Turners Cross, while UCD are at home to Dudelange of Luxembourg.

Both games kick-off is at 7.45pm.

HORSE RACING

There's racing at Bellewstown and Tipperary today.

There are eight races down for decision on the seaside track in County Meath, where the first is off at 5.05pm.

And the action begins in Tipp at 5.55pm.
